LABOR DAY FESTIVAL
GREENBELT, MARYLAND
The Greenbelt Labor Day Festival was started in 1955 as a way of raising funds to build a Youth Center. It has been held every year since by the Greenbelt Labor Day Festival Committee, one of the largest all-volunteer organizations in Maryland.
The weekend-long celebration includes:
Amusement Rides and Carnival Games
Live Bands and Entertainment
Food and Refreshments
Sports and Recreation for All Ages
Art Exhibits and Activities
Art Show and Photo Show Contests
Used Book Sale
Labor Day Parade
Platinum Rollers Motorcycle Club participates in the Labor Day Parade every year for this fun filled charitable weekend event.
